The school is:
- A 65 m² kitchen equipped to allow visitors to cook and put into practice solutions and recipes for a diet that is more respectful of Nature and People.
- Two large educational rooms where exhibitions and workshops will take place, as well as debates on consumer habits or production methods, for example.
FARMERS OF THE FUTURE COMPETITION
The aim of this competition is to highlight new methods of agriculture to promote agricultural transition in the regions. It also aims to accelerate innovation in favor of more sustainable agricultural models that respect people and the environment.
The METRO fund supports the “conversion” category which is placed in the Initiatives category.
Varied and innovative initiatives are reinventing the agricultural world every day: agrotourism projects, catering, farm energy, transformation, social, educational or cultural initiatives, multi-activity, collective, conversion, transmission, local authority and installation.
RADISH PROJECT
Led by the A table Citoyen association, the RADIS project pursues two social impact objectives and one environmental impact objective.
It aims to:
- to improve the catering offer proposed to people supported by social structures
- create support and training courses towards careers in catering and logistics for people far from employment
fight against food waste by cooking unsold food from distribution
